Laila Al-Khatib succeeded, in achieving the first gold medal in the history of Emirati swimming for girls, during the Arab Championship for Sunni Ages, held in Morocco, and concludes tomorrow, by winning the gold medal in the 200-meter varied race with a time of 2:29 minutes, which is close to the number of Arabs with only one second Maryam Al Shamsi, a member of the Federation’s Board of Directors, Chair of the Women's Committee, and a co-member of the official delegation of the Emirati delegation in Morocco, praised the great achievement of the Emirati swimming for the first time in the history of Arab participation, and the achievement of the first gold medal for girls in Arab championships.
